Question: Where Do You Stop Tile In A Doorway

The best place to stop running the tile is under the door. From the bathroom side, you want to see tile disappear under the door, from the hallway side, you don’t want to see tile if the hallway is hardwood or carpet.

Where do you stop flooring in a doorway?

One of the best ways to determine where to stop the laminate flooring at doorways is to use a small piece as a guide. I place the small piece at each side of the doorway where the door will be when it is closed. I make a mark on each side and then draw a line from side to side.

How do you stop tile on a doorway?
