Cyanoacrylate glue is usually the best choice when glueing PLA parts. Any brand will work: Gorilla Glue, Loctite, SuperGlue, extra-strong glue or any instant glue. I prefer it on small tubes so it won’t spoil if I don’t use it in a while.

Can you use PVC glue on PLA?
I’ve had success gluing a printed PLA part to PVC using a glue from Selleys called All Plastic Fix. It’s a two step procedure where you use a priming pen/marker on both areas to be joined then simply apply the cyanoacrylate glue to one side and hold pressure on the join for around 30 secs.

Does PLA sink or float?
They all have densities above 3.5g/cm^3. Water is 1g/cm3 Salt water is 1.025-1.05 ABS is 1.04 PLA is 1.25 PETG is 1.38 So PETG should sink and survive in saltwater.
How do you protect PLA from the sun?
UV lights can also affect PLA filaments and drastically change their properties. Putting PLA under sunlight makes it more brittle after a while, but it will keep its shape and strength as long as it’s not under heavy loads of pressure. So you can still use PLA outdoor in the sun for aesthetic pieces.
