What is a mesh pod?
Mesh is a grid like strip of metal – often made from something like Kanthal or Nichrome. It’s designed to increase the surface area of metal that comes into contact with your wicking material (usually cotton). Standard wires are a single thread of wire “coiled” into a spiral that sits inside the cotton.
What’s the difference between mesh pods and regular pods?
Differences. Mesh coils come with a larger surface area compared with regular coils – heat up at a faster rate to produce more flavor and vapor. The mesh coils types are better at generating flavorful vapor and huge vapor clouds compared to regular coils. Regular coils are usually used with small pod mod vape systems.
