Question: How To Use Car Wax

How long should you leave wax on a car?

Do you wax a car wet or dry?

It is best to apply car wax to a clean, dry vehicle. Either take your vehicle to a car wash or wash it yourself before applying wax. What do I use to apply wax to my car?

SPRAY WAX APPLICATION Step 1: Spray the wax, such as our best-selling Turtle Wax ICE Spray Wax, directly on the car surface, working on one section at a time. Step 2: Rub in the wax with one side of a damp microfiber towel. Step 3: Buff out the remaining product with the other, clean side of the microfiber towel.

Does waxing a car remove scratches?

Waxes do not remove scratches and swirl marks. To remove a scratch, you need to use polish or compound if it’s in the clear coat, or respray the area if it’s gone into the colour coat or primer. Waxes can make very minor scratches and swirls look less severe but they will not hide deeper scratches.

How often should I wax my car?
