Why won’t my 3D printer bed heat up?
If the bed does not heat up even using the heater cartridge connectors, then your heated build plate likely needs to be replaced. Or the wire needs to be replaced. If you are running Ramps or a board that uses 2 hot end outputs you can likely reprogram it to use hot end heater 2 as the new output for your heated bed.

Is 220 PLA too hot?
The general range for PLA is around 190 to 220 °C. If your layers aren’t adhering to one another, heating up your hot end can usually fix it, but be careful: If the extruder is too hot, the PLA filament can become extra soft and flimsy. This can cause your prints to be messy and droopy.
