Can you sand teak wood?
Sanding the Teak You can do most of the job by hand with 120-grit sandpaper. If you prefer to use a machine, choose any standard palm-sized orbital sander. Keep in mind that sanding machines make small, circular scratch marks. You’ll have to erase those by hand-sanding with the next finest sandpaper, 150-grit.
How do you restore weathered teak on a boat?
The cleaning procedure with most one-part cleaners is the same: wet the teak down, sprinkle or brush on the cleaner, scrub down, and rinse off. Be sure to rinse well. Even badly weathered teak should come up reasonably well with a one part cleaner. When the wood dries, it should be a uniform light tan.

I would avoid using a pressure washer on your teak table. Pressure washers are the easy way to clean, but the problem is they can also damage the furniture-grade teak lumber. Chlorine bleach can whiten the teak wood fibers because it’s such a strong oxidizer.
