How do you purify beeswax?

Using My Solar Oven I place that pot containing a small bit of water, the paper-lined strainer & raw wax into my solar oven. As it heats slowly the beeswax melts and is filtered through the paper towel. The paper filter removes all but the tiniest impurities while the clean melted wax drips down into the water below.
