What do you put under acrylic shower base?

Mortar is recommended to use under all shower pans. Mortar reduces the risk of your pan slipping or cracking from an uneven surface.

How do you install an acrylic shower pan with mortar?

Set the acrylic shower pan in place on top of the mortar. Apply pressure at various points across the surface to press it into the mortar. Use the level to help guide you in your application of pressure, but ensure the entire base is set into the mortar.

Do I have to put mortar under shower pan?
