What is the easiest way to cut fleece?

Can you cut fleece fabric?

Fleece cuts easily with scissors or a rotary cutter. Unless you have a 60mm rotary cutter, though, just cut one layer at a time. Fleece does have a nap, so make sure you cut all your pieces in the same direction and all on the same side. Since fleece doesn’t ravel, the edges don’t need to be finished.

Can you cut fleece without it fraying?

Fleece does not fray too easily, so neatening seams is not essential, but you can neaten with a regular or three step zigzag stitch, if required. However, you may find because of the stretchy nature of fleece, that the fabric edge will curl and wave.

Is fleece hard to cut?
