How long should I wait to apply clear coat?
Allow 30 minutes after base coat color has been applied to apply the clear coat. Apply 4-5 wet (but not dripping) coats waiting 10+ minutes in between coats. Each coat should be dry to the touch (not tacky) before moving on to the next.
Can you spray clear coat the next day?
Too much humidity can cause the clear to be foggy— In other words, you’ll want to paint on a day that’s dry. No painting outside on a rainy day. But if you have a closed temperature controlled environment, go right ahead. Avoid spraying on a hot day.
Can I clear coat after 24 hours?

Does buffing damage clear coat?
yes buffing can and will remove clear coat. If done properly not much harm will be done. If it is your first time useing a buffer i would recommend you use a junk yard hood to pratice on to get the feel for it. If you stay in one spot to long or have the buffer speed to high you can burn right through the paint.
Can you spray clear coat over epoxy primer?
You will have a more durable finish if you top coat the epoxy with an opaque urethane. For what you intend to use the truck for I would just go ahead and shoot the clear. It will last years without any problems .
Can you polyurethane over primer?
