How does EFILive tuning work?
EFILive is just a software that takes the ECM parameters and enables “you” or a “tuner”(person that manipulates the parameters) to change them and flash them back into the ECM. EFILive does not build performance tunes or even tune them selfs.
What is an AutoCal tuner?
EFILive’s AutoCal device is intended to provide a convenient platform for professional tuners to distribute custom tunes to their customers. It allows the tuner to update and optimize the original tune without shipping and/or removing controllers from customers’ vehicles.
How much HP does EFILive add?
A basic tune to add 100 hp or so can be accomplished by changing only five or six tables in the engine’s software calibration. Where EFILive really shines is tuning a modified truck to run like a stocker.
Can you switch tunes with AutoCal?
Differences between FlashScan and AutoCal AutoCal cannot be used to create or change tune files.
What is EFI Live Pro tuning?
The pro-tuning license only REMOVES the restriction preventing you from defining a parameter already defined by EFILive. This feature will save some users time in eliminating the need to edit their *. cax file, especially when EFILive adds new parameters to the software.
What is V3 AutoCal?
SKU: EFILive V3 Autocal. The EFILive V3 Autocal is a scan tool for GM and Cummins vehicles. It also supports module flashing. Tuning is not included. This is only a scan tool used for diagnostic purposes.
Can EFI Live read codes?
With efi live deletes there will be no codes, emission components get turned off, or removed from the trucks brain. Just make sure to tell your tuner exactly you want done.
Does EFI Live tune transmission?
OK, EFI Live does not do delete tuning, Does not do transmission tuning, or any tuning for that matter other than a base file for emissions compliant. It is simply a tool. A custom tuner takes care of the rest.

How do you load music on AutoCal V3?
To move tune files and log files from AutoCal V3 to your PC; Connect AutoCal V3 to your PC. Open EFILive Explorer. Navigate to the directory on your PC where you wish to save the file. Navigate to: [F3: Data Files]. Select appropriate folder on your AutoCal device and drag the selected file to your PC.
Is EFILive free?
Since the software is available for free on the EFILive website, what you are really purchasing is the license and the hardware. All the vendors appear to be charging the same price. Some include a free sample tune and DSP2 switch.
Will EFI Live delete DPF?

Is EFI Live Vin locked?
Your tune is vin locked. If you keep the autocal you can just buy another Vin license and buy updated tunes if you decide to use Ryan’s tunes on the new truck.

What are the 5 tunes on EFI live?

Is MM3 good for Cummins?
MM3 is a good match if; You have never unlocked the PCM and you do not own EFILive hardware already. There is a bit of savings to be had if you are starting fresh when you select the MM3.
How do you read codes in AutoCal?

How do I update my EFI live on AutoCal v3?
Click the [Check Firmware] button at the top of the window. Boot Block and Firmware versions, along with Configuration files are displayed. If a firmware update is available then the [Update Firmware] button will be visible. You should click that button to update the firmware in the connected device.

What does a DSP 5 switch do?
The CSP5 and DSP5 switches allows users to switch on the fly between 5 user defined tunes. With the DSP5 switch, you can change your tuning “on-the-fly”. Tuning not included, you must have DSP5 Tuning for use with this switch.
How do you clear codes on a Duramax?
With the Dodge trucks you can disconnect both batteries, both cables. Then hold the positive and negative cable together off one of the batteries for 10 seconds. This will completly drain the system and clear any codes that it may have. It should work the same with a Duramax.
Does EFI Live work on Mac?
No it does not. You would have to boot windows through your mac with parallels or something of that nature.
What does EFI Live do for Cummins?
The EFI Live system is a tool that allows you to electronically crack open the OE ECU & TCM in your Cummins and allows you to overwrite the stock files with upgraded tunes. This specific EFI Live will include Coopers Custom Solutions tuning with either a single tune or 5 tunes.
