Gas Stove Making Noise When Off

If your stove or cooktop igniters won’t stop clicking after the burner is turned off, it may just need a good cleaning. This is actually one of the most common causes of a continual clicking sound. If your cooking gets a bit messy sometimes, food debris can get lodged around the ignition system.

Why is my oven making noise when its off?

The most common reason for an oven making a buzzing noise when off is the cooling period. If you have been running the oven for a long period, the fan may continue to run when the appliance is off. As long as it is connected to a power source, the fan can keep running until the unit has cooled down.
