In Canvas you have options to track student activity via Course Analytics, Course Statistics, Student Analytics, and the new Analytics Beta tool. At this time Canvas analytics do not measure activity on mobile devices, with the exception of Analytics Beta which does measure activity across devices.
Can professors see your activity on canvas?
Instructors can see certain activity such as: time started/stopped an exam or quiz, total time spent on the exam/quiz, date/time stamps on assignments, time spent in the course and last login. They are not notified when you logout and have no way of knowing.
