Every Canvas course is associated with a term, and all terms end on September 30th of the following academic year. Once student interaction on your course is no longer needed (only viewing), setting an end date will manually ‘archive’ your course and remove it from your, and your students’, dashboards.
Can I see my past courses on canvas?
