Will EFI Live read codes?
With efi live deletes there will be no codes, emission components get turned off, or removed from the trucks brain. Just make sure to tell your tuner exactly you want done.

What is the difference between FlashScan and AutoCal?
With FlashScan V2, end users have the ability to create, view, and modify tunes. AutoCal is limited to flashing tunes provided by a single tuner. FlashScan is required to create tunes for an AutoCal device. AutoCal devices cannot create tunes.
How do you check AutoCal codes?

Does EFI Live tune transmission?
OK, EFI Live does not do delete tuning, Does not do transmission tuning, or any tuning for that matter other than a base file for emissions compliant. It is simply a tool. A custom tuner takes care of the rest.

Can you put EFI live on a Powerstroke?
Motor Ops Powerstroke tuning will run smoother, produce more power, have lower exhaust gas temperatures under load, and prove to be more reliable than any box tuner on the market. EFI Live does not offer Powerstroke engine tuning.
How does EFI Live work?
EFILive is just a software that takes the ECM parameters and enables “you” or a “tuner”(person that manipulates the parameters) to change them and flash them back into the ECM. EFILive does not build performance tunes or even tune them selfs.
Does EFI Live work on Mac?
No it does not. You would have to boot windows through your mac with parallels or something of that nature.
How do I update my EFI live on AutoCal v3?
Click the [Check Firmware] button at the top of the window. Boot Block and Firmware versions, along with Configuration files are displayed. If a firmware update is available then the [Update Firmware] button will be visible. You should click that button to update the firmware in the connected device.
What is a DSP5 switch?
The CSP5 and DSP5 switches allows users to switch on the fly between 5 user defined tunes. With the DSP5 switch, you can change your tuning “on-the-fly”. Tuning not included, you must have DSP5 Tuning for use with this switch.
How do I connect FlashScan to AutoCal?

On this page, Calman will calibrate the Color Management using a 3D LUT Press the AutoCal button to open AutoCal dialog. Choose the video range that matches your target and pattern generator settings. Click OK to begin colorspace AutoCal process. When AutoCal is complete, press the Next button to proceed.
How much HP does EFI Live add?
A basic tune to add 100 hp or so can be accomplished by changing only five or six tables in the engine’s software calibration. Where EFILive really shines is tuning a modified truck to run like a stocker.

Is EFILive free?
Since the software is available for free on the EFILive website, what you are really purchasing is the license and the hardware. All the vendors appear to be charging the same price. Some include a free sample tune and DSP2 switch.
Does MM3 come with tunes?

How do I read EFILive data logs?
Open the EFI Live V8 Scan & Tune software (icon will be located on your Desktop). On the ‘F3: Data Files’ tab it should have an EFILive folder, Scan folder, Tune folder, and Read folder (just to the right of the multi-colored triangle at the bottom left of the window). Now click on the ‘Scan Folder’.
How do I unlink my AutoCal?
Tuners can manage unlinking of an AutoCal by physically unlinking AutoCal or by generating a Remote-Unlink Code that can be emailed to their customer.
