A D Loop does not change your draw length. The bow will draw what ever it is. But,your anchor will change. If your release is too long,it will seem a lot longer.
Can a D loop be too long?
Really there is no such thing as “too long” unless it is such that decreases to your ability to shoot well. There is such as thing as “too short”. A d-loop is “too short” when you anchor and the d-loop torques the bow string.
