Can you mix cream hardener with fiberglass resin?
The cream hardener is effectively benzoyl peroxide with added pigments and thickeners. The fiberglass hardener is methyl-ethyl-ketone peroxide (MEKP) with some added stabilizers. They both serve the same purpose. When mixed with the resin, they kick off an exothermic reaction.
Will cream hardener work with fiberglass resin?

Will gelcoat stick to bondo?
bondo has a polyester resin base so ya polyester fiberglass resin (or gel-coat) will bond fine.
Will epoxy stick to bondo?
Yes, epoxy will stick to Bondo. If the bondo has cured for more than 24 hours polyester resin will not chemically bond to it. However, if as has been said, you rough up the cured bondo with sand paper, you can achieve a mechanical bond with polyester or with epoxy resin.
What will fiberglass adhere to?
Fiberglass is a very durable material that will bond to almost any surface, including plastic, metal, wood and Styrofoam. For laying up fiberglass on hard materials such as metal it’s important to thoroughly scuff the surface to get a strong bond.
Are body fillers bad?
Fillers like Bondo can crack if they are mixed too thickly, harming rather than improving the look of the car. Additionally, there’s a risk of discoloration and poor long-term wear when you use a dent repair filler like Bondo.

What can I use to harden fiberglass resin?
How do I Cure Fiberglass Resin That Doen’t Have Enough Hardener Set the fiberglass in the sun. The curing of fiberglass resin is an exothermic reaction, meaning that heat makes it work. Use a heat gun on the fiberglass. Spray a mist of catalyst onto the fiberglass with a spray bottle.
Are all fiberglass hardener the same?
All the different color hardeners are chemically the same, just different color dyes. One color is not going to work any better or worse than any of the other colors. And those hardeners don’t freeze (at least here in Freeze Your Nads, Michigan) where 10 below zero is not out of the ordinary.
