What fasteners to use for Tyvek?
To attach Tyvek® in wood frame construction, use DuPont™ Tyvek® Wrap Cap nails, DuPont™ Tyvek® Wrap Cap Staples, other cap staples for the Stinger™ Cap Stapler. DuPont™ Tyvek® Wrap Cap screws and 1-1/4” or 2” metal gasketed washers with screws should be used for steel frame construction.
Can I Staple Tyvek house wrap?

Can I use 2 layers of Tyvek?

What size staples should be used for house wrap?

How do you attach Tyvek to metal studs?

Does house wrap go over or under foam board?

Is typar the same as Tyvek?
Typar® Building Wraps has a lower perm rating compared to Tyvek® HomeWrap®; so, a wall covered with Typar® can take longer to dry, which increases the risk of mold, mildew, and rot. Tyvek® HomeWrap® has a drainage plane so can manage bulk water better than Typar® Building Wrap, that does not have a drainage plane.
