Are Ruggable rugs durable?

Both pet- and kid-friendly, even Ruggable’s 8×10 size rugs can fit in a standard washing machine, making them ideal for high-traffic areas prone to spills. Because the outdoor rug and doormat are nearly indestructible, we liked using these washable rugs outside, too. Both styles held up to the elements really well.

How often can you wash a Ruggable rug?

Experts recommend professional rug cleaning at least once every 12 months. Your rug can hold up to 4 times its weight in dirt, dust, and dead skin cells. With all the microorganisms in your rug, it’s said to be 4,000 times dirtier than your toilet.

Do roombas work on Ruggable rugs?

Overall, we did not notice any decrease in cleaning performance on the Ruggable compared to any other low pile carpeted floor. The rug is low enough that the Roomba was able to easily navigate on or off the rug and it did a great job of cleaning the debris.

What are Ruggable rugs made out of?

Our Classic and Cushioned Rug Pads consist of a 100% recycled polyester surface and a thermoplastic rubber bottom, a latex-free, synthetic material most commonly used in yoga mats. Our Cushioned Rug Pads have an additional 100% recycled polyester middle layer for added cushion.

Can Ruggables be used without the pad?

You might be tempted to skip out on the rug pad in order to save some money. However, Ruggable does not recommend using the cover without a rug pad. The company states that ” one does not work without the other.” The covers are thin, and you’ll need the pad for comfort and to keep the cover in place.

Is Ruggable non toxic?

Our rugs are thoroughly tested for toxicity and meet government standards, including federal standards for children’s products. We do not chemically treat our rugs in any way, and we only use water-based dyes for our Rug Covers that are non-toxic and considered wearable (like clothing).
