How To Draw Munchkin Characters

How do you start Munchkins?

Setup Divide the cards into a treasure stack and a door (AKA room) stack. Give each player four cards from each stack. Give each player a level token. Everyone starts at level 1.

How many cards do you draw in Munchkin?

Each player shuffles their deck and draws six cards from the top of their deck to form their hand. Players begin the game with six cards, but there is no minimum or maximum number of cards a player may have in their hand.

Can you play Munchkin with 2 players?

Yes, You can play play Munchkin Deluxe with only two players. However, it would be a lot like playing Uno with only two players. Some of the cards are to be passed to the player on your right or left, or to a player of your choice. Around 4 – 6 players is optimal.

Is there a hand limit in Munchkin?

Your Hand: Cards in your hand are not in play. They don’t help you, but they can’t be taken away except by cards that specifically affect “your hand.” At the end of your turn, you may have no more than five cards in your hand (see Charity, p. 2).

Is cheating allowed in Munchkin?

The only way you are allowed to cheat is with the Cheat! card (or one of its variants). Even with these cards, you are only allowed to break the rules for particular Items and so forth, not cheat in any way you see fit.
