With FlashScan V2, end users have the ability to create, view, and modify tunes. AutoCal is limited to flashing tunes provided by a single tuner. FlashScan is required to create tunes for an AutoCal device. AutoCal devices cannot create tunes.

How do I update my AutoCal firmware?
Click the [Check Firmware] button at the top of the window. Boot Block and Firmware versions, along with Configuration files are displayed. If a firmware update is available then the [Update Firmware] button will be visible. You should click that button to update the firmware in the connected device.
Does EFI Live come with tunes?
Premium Member. EFILive is just a software that takes the ECM parameters and enables “you” or a “tuner”(person that manipulates the parameters) to change them and flash them back into the ECM. EFILive does not build performance tunes or even tune them selfs. The only provide the software.

How do I unlink my AutoCal?
Tuners can manage unlinking of an AutoCal by physically unlinking AutoCal or by generating a Remote-Unlink Code that can be emailed to their customer. Refer to the FlashScan Link to AutoCal help file for more information. AutoCal End Users can also purchase the AutoCal Unlink product from the EFILive store.
What do I need to use EFI live?
Efi live is a P/C based flash scan tuner. Yes you need a laptop or P/C. All progamers have the pottential to hurt your tranny if you run them on the higher levels.
What are the 5 tunes on EFI live?
It includes 5 custom tunes for a DSP5 switch so that you can switch between tunes while driving. Our tunes are opt.stock, tow (w/ turbo braking), street, hot and race. Please specify in the stated area if you want any other specific tunes.
How does EFI Live switch work?
The DSP2 switch works by switching the voltage level at an ECM pin. The ECM monitors the voltage to determine which program you wish to run. When the switch is open, the ECM will use the factory maps, when the switch is closed (grounded) the ECM will use the DSP2 tables.

Can EFI Live disable DPF?
Efi live publicly announced on there website that they are disabling dpf delete options on there later software versions for US based customers. As of now most tuners are still offering delete tuning.
How do I add my VIN to AutoCal?
Click the [F7: Licenses] button in the left-hand pane. Click the [F3: VINs] button in the left-hand pane. Paste the Activation Code and enter the License number from your email. Select [Activate VIN License] to add the licenses to the device.
How do you read codes in AutoCal?
Registered. Plug it into the OBDII port, turn your ignition on – 2 clicks – scroll down to read DTC and press ok. It will list all your codes.
How do I connect FlashScan to AutoCal?

Click on the drop down of [Link] button and select [Generate Remote-Link Code]. Enter the serial number of the AutoCal to be linked.
