Can you plant AeroGarden pods?

How do I get a replacement Aerogarden pod?

How often do you replace Aerogarden pods?
How long do the pods and nutrients last? Answer: Everything lasts about 6 months. The manufacturer states that you will get the best growth out of your plants if you replace the lights after 6 months.
What happens if I unplug my Aerogarden?

Can you transfer AeroGarden plants to soil?
The best time to make the move from an AeroGarden seed starting system to soil is when the seedling grows its first set of true leaves. Place the seedling in the center of the pot with the top of the grow sponge at, or slightly below, the rim. Gently fill around the grow sponge with potting mix and firm it in.
Should I trim AeroGarden roots?
We recommend trimming your AeroGarden roots for the first time after about 4 weeks. With the plants removed, trim the roots. Be careful not to trim them back too far. Just trim them back far enough so they will not interfere with the parts of your AeroGarden.
Can you use AeroGarden pods in soil?

Can you grow basil and tomatoes together in AeroGarden?
When planting this combination, use a 7-pod Aerogarden and leave the pods closest to the Basil and Tomato open. When the basil plant is 6-8 inches tall, harvest out the of the middle of the plant so it doesn’t grow in height but in width. Harvest the tomatoes as they ripen or pluck them green for a tarter taste.

How do I get rid of mold in my AeroGarden?
These work great, but what you need to do FIRST, is get them wet, and put them in your microwave for four minutes. This will kill whatever mold spores are residing in them. Don’t forget to clean out your Aerogarden with a little bit of bleach to. Run the bleach water in your machine for fifteen minutes.
